Government without God

In reading my Bible this morning, I came across what the Bible says our government should be. It is to uphold the good and punish evil and God has delegated authority to our human government. We are to obey our government as long as what is ask of us doesn't violate God's word. Our leaders serve by virtue of God's appointment and are His servants in their offices. Our elected officials are to actively uphold the good. As Christians, we are to be active in the affairs of our government so it's values are consistent with God's word.

Christians, it's time for us to stand and be heard! Our government leaders have failed miserable at their appointed positions. They are trying to impose on the American people their ideas of what is right and wrong without consulting the Word of God. One of the Ten Commandments says, Thou shalt not kill, yet there are thousands of little ones murdered everyday in this country in the name of choice! Does anyone else feel as I do that we've elected the wrong kind of people to run America? Abortion is wrong, there is absolutely no way it can be justified (except life of the mother) and for all those who are willingly involved in this industry of killing will face the consequences unless they are on their knees begging for the Lord's forgiveness. Today, right now, wouldn't be too soon to stop what you're doing, repent and start pleading for mercy! God is good, He is great and He will forgive those who are sincere in their willingness to turn from their sin. Do it today!
